Paper was conducted in OFFLINE Mode.

Sub-inspectors in Delhi Police, CAPFs and Assistant Sub-inspector in CISF, 2015

Paper II for recruitment of sub-inspectors in Delhi Police, CAPFs and Assistant Sub-inspector in CISF, 2015 was conducted on August 30, between 2:00 P.M. and 4:00 P.M. The students were judged on the basis of only one section, i.e., English Language and Comprehension. The pattern of the paper was similar to the one conducted last year. Each correct answer would increase a student's score by 1 mark while each incorrect answer would decrease a student's score by 0.25 marks. The questions in this paper were designed to test a student understanding and knowledge of English Language and were based on Error Spotting, Filling in the Blanks, Vocabulary (Antonyms, Synonyms, Spellings and Idioms), Active/Passive Voice, Direct/Indirect Sentence, Sentence Improvement, Reading Comprehension and Cloze Test. The topic wise distribution of the paper is as follows:

The questions based on Reading Comprehension were direct. There was no inference based question. One particular Cloze Test was quite difficult. A student would have taken a lot of time in order to identify the correct answer. So it would have been better to leave the passage then and come back to it once the other questions were finished. All in all, the paper was of moderate level of difficulty. A total of 100-120 attempts can be said to be a good attempt.
