Age Limit:

As on 1st January 2015, the Age of the candidate must be in between 18 years and 28 years.

Relaxation in Upper Age Limit will be allowed to Reserved Category candidates as per Jammu and Kashmir Government Rules.

Educational Qualification:

The candidates must have passed Matriculation/10th Class Exam or equivalent from a recognized education board.

Other Eligibility Criteria:

The candidate must satisfy the Physical Standards as described in J&K Police Constable Recruitment Notification 2015.

Application Form: 

Candidates may obtain application form from the Offices of all the district SSsP in J&K/ SSP CID Cell New Delhi on payment of Rs. 300/- Demand Draft (DD)/ Postal Order from any of the Branch of J&K Bank/ Post Office payable to Chief Accounts Officer PHQ, payable at Jammu/ Srinagar.

Pay Scale:

The appointed candidate will be paid under the Pay Scale of Rs.5200/- to Rs.20200/- with Grade Pay of Rs.1900/- per month.

Selection Process:

Candidates will be selected based on written test, physical endurance test, physical standard test, medical examination.

The candidate will be selected through following process: 

• Physical Endurance Test (PET) 
• Physical Standard Test (PST) 
• Written Examination (objective type)

How to Apply : 

The Dully Filled In Application Form (OMR Form) Shall Be Deposited By The Eligible Candidates In The Offices Of Respective District Superintendents Of Police (SP) Where the Applicant Residence. The Migrants Candidates Presently Settled Out Of the Valley In Jammu Province Who Intend To Apply Shall Deposit There Application Form Indicating There Residential Particulars, In The District Police Offices Where They Are Presently Settled.
