GATE 2016 Admit Card | Hall Ticket Download Starts From December 29

Conducted by Indian Institute of Science (IISc), Bangalore, Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) is a competitive examination which will be from 30th January to 7th February 2016. Graduates in huge number applied for GATE 2016 examination. All those interested and eligible aspirants who had applied are searching for the admit cards as it is the mandatory document to carry for the exam and it contains the details regarding the roll number, exam venue, duration of the exam etc. For the aspirants who have registered for GATE 2016, the admit cards, were supposed to released on 17 December 2016. But, now it has been announced that the hall ticket will be available from on 29 December 2016.

GATE 2016 Admit Card:

GATE exam is conducted every year as a gateway to postgraduate courses at the Master’s and Doctoral level across the country. The score is also used by some Public and Private Sector Undertakings for employment processes. Direct recruitment to Group A level posts i.e., Senior Field Office (SFO Tele), Senior Research Officer (SRO) (Crypto) and SRO(S&T) in Cabinet Secretariat is now being done on the basis of GATE scores. It primarily tests the comprehensive understanding of the candidates in various undergraduate subjects in Engineering/Technology/Architecture and post-graduate level subjects in Science.

The GATE 2016 examination will be held in the morning and afternoon on alternate weekends (Saturday and Sunday). Candidate should bring their Admit card on the time of the examination otherwise they will not allow to seat in examination. Candidates who have filled application form of the GATE exam 2016, now they can see be the GATE Admit card 2016 on the official website. Admit card is main important thing for the examination which helps the candidates to enter the examination hall. Candidates can access the official website after using their application id and password for the GATE 2016 Examination Hall Ticket.

• Firstly you have to log in official website, you can use below mentioned link to open official website.
• Enter the registration number and date of birth.
• Candidates should click on the GATE Admit Card link.
• Click on download or save the admit card and can take a print out for the future references.

GATE 2016 will be conducted by IISc Bangalore which is the organizing institute for the GATE exam in 2016 aided by seven IITs called as the zonal institutes namely- IIT Bombay, IIT Delhi, IIT Madras, IIT Guwahati, IIT Kanpur, IIT Kharagpur and IIT Roorkee.

GATE 2016 Admit Card:

• Candidates will be able to download the GATE 2016 Admit Card from December 29, 2015.
• They must download and print the same to appear for the GATE 2016 exam.
• They must print the GATE 2016 Admit Card on an A4 size paper on a colour printer.
• They must ensure the details and photograph are legible and clear.
• Candidates must also carry a valid photo identity along with the GATE 2016 Admit Card to the exam hall.
• The Photo identity must be the same as the one entered in the GATE 2016 Application Form.
• Candidates must remember that they have to carry the original Photo identity along with them to the exam hall

GATE 2016 Admit Card will contain the following details: On the left hand side, the Photo of the candidate will be displayed with the signature just below. Alongside the following will be displayed followed by instructions for candidates

How To Download the GATE 2016 Admit Card:

• Candidates have to log in to GOAPS to download their Admit Card for GATE 2016
• Candidates will have to enter their GATE 2016 Enrolment ID/Email Address and the password to download their GATE 2016 Admit Card
• Candidates who have forgotten their Password can check the options for the same to be able to download their Admit Card
