On 3rd January 2016, the OPSC, under Water Resources Department will be conducting the written test for the posts of Assistant Executive Engineer (Electrical) in Group ‘A’ of Odisha Engineering Service. Odisha Public Service Commission has started its works from the year of 1949 on 1st April. The functions of the Commission are Advice on the framing of recruitment rules and its amendments with regard to the recruitment and conditions of service of Group ‘B’ posts/services carrying scale of pay of Rs. 6500-200-10,500/- and above and Group ‘A’ posts/services and Recruitment of candidates to different posts/services belonging to Group ‘B’ and above under the State Government.

Exam Pattern for Odisha PSC Assistant Executive Engineer written Exam is as Follows:-
- The written exam will be multiple choice objective types.
- The written exam shall be of two papers (Paper-I & Paper-II) for each Civil and Mechanical Engineering.
- Each question paper will contain 180 marks (90 questions of two marks each).
- The time duration for each paper will be 03:00 hours (180 minutes).
