The Department of Posts (DoP) has been the backbone of the country’s communication for more than 150 years. It has played a crucial role in the country’s socio-economic development. The DoP’s main functions are delivering mails, accepting deposits under Small Savings Schemes, providing life insurance cover under Postal Life Insurance (PLI) and Rural Postal Life Insurance (RPLI) and providing retail services like bill collection, sale of forms, etc. However, to recruit the eligible candidates for various posts, it will invite applications from the eligible candidates. Like every year, it has released the notification for the recruitment of 310 posts of Multi-Tasking Staff, 602 posts of Postman and 20 posts of Mailguard for Uttar Pradesh Post Office Postal Circle / Service.
