JEE Main CBT Online Exam Review & Paper Analysis 2016 : The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) conducted the Joint Entrance Examination, JEE (Main) Computer Based Test (CBT)/ Online exam on 9th April 2016 from 9.30 AM to 12.30 PM. Aspirants who are looking for the admissions into Undergraduate Engineering Programs at NITs, IIITs, Other Centrally Funded Technical Institutions, Institutions funded by participating State Governments, and other Institutions applied and appeared for the examination.

jee main 2016 paper analysis & expected cut-off : Joint Entrance Examination(JEE) is held in both online and offline modes. There are 2 papers held for JEE Mains PAPER-1 and PAPER-2. PAPER-1 is for the engineering students i.e. B.Tech. and PAPER-2 is for designers and B.Arch students. The JEE Main paper 1 contains multiple choice questions on Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.
To estimate the score via JEE Main 2016 answer key, candidates will have to match answers in it with that given in the answer key. For each correct answer, candidates should allocate 4 marks to the self and for each incorrect answer, deduct ¼ marks.

The exam consits of three subjects i.e; Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics and is of objective type. All the subjects carry equal marks. Here is the complete review of the JEE Main 2016 online exam.
Just like the offline exam, the difficulty of CBT was moderate. The Physics section was again the toughest. However, Mathematics and Chemistry were comparatively easier.
The JEE Main 2016 paper was easier than in 2015, which should increase the cut offs. However, since more students are going to be shortlisted (2 lac instead of 1.5 lac), the net cut offs will be lower than that of the previous year.

Chapterwise Weightage
The pie charts for each of the subjects below show how certain chapters have been more important than others in this year’s exam. Moreover, by using Embibe’s Learn Digest Question Pack, students would have gained a leg up during preparation. Concepts and questions from 80% of the top 15 chapters in Mathematics were represented in the Digest, as were 66.7% of Physics chapters and 53.3% of Chemistry chapters.
