The Uttar Pradesh Intermediate Education Board has successfully conducted Written Exam and Practicals of Class 12th (Intermediate) from February 18 to March 21, 2016 at various examination centres in all across Uttar Pradesh State.  The UP Board is expected to announce the Uttar Pradesh Board Intermediate (Class XII) Results 2016 on Sunday i.e. May 15, 2016 at 12:30 PM. About the Board : The UP Board, also known as Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad, was established in 1921 in Allahabad. It was founded for the promotion and development of Secondary Education in Uttar Pradesh and started conducting examinations in 1923.

At present, there are 9121 secondary schools recognised by the UP Board of High School and Intermediate Education.

UP Intermediate (XII class) Result 2016 Analysis/ Pass Percentage : In the year 2015, two female candidates had bagged the first and second ranks in the UP Board Class 12th result. The overall performance of girls was outstanding and was also better than boys in the previous year. The pass percentage of female candidates was 92.16% while that of male candidates it was 85.91%.
