CBSE Class 10 Results 2016 **Region wise topper** : Thiruvananthapuram Tops All Across India: CBSE Class 10 Results 2016 declared: Thiruvananthapuram gets highest pass percentage in both 10 and 12 exams.

According to the board, of the total 14,99,122 registered students for Class 10th examination, 8,92,685 are boys and 6,06,437 are girls.

The schools will automatically get their results on the email ids already registered with the Board.

In the CBSE class 12th results declared last week, the overall pass percentage was 83.05 which is an improvement over last year’s 82 percent.

Thiruvananthapuram region recorded the overall highest pass percentage with 99.87 per cent, followed by Chennai which recorded a pass percentage of 99.69. The Class 12 Board results were also announced on May 21 and the region got the highest pass percentage in it also.

A total of 14,91,29,3 students had registered for the exam, out of which 88,82,52 were boys and 60,30,41 were girls. Out of the total registered candidates, 14,89,02,1 had appeared for the exam, out of which 88,67,41 were boys and 60,22,80 were girls.
Girls again on top:
Girls once again performed better than boys, with the overall pass percentage of boys being 96.11 per cent, and that of girls being 96.36 per cent.
