U. P. Board High School (Class X) Examination - 2016 Results  

Uttar Pradesh Board (UP Board 10th) successfully conducted Class 10th examination from 18th February 2016 to 09th March 2016.  Uttar Pradesh Board of High School & Intermediate Education which is also known as Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad has now decided to declare the UP Board 10th (High School) Result 2016 and UP Board 12th (Intermediate) Result 2016 on 15 May 2016 at 12:30 PM.  The exams were conducted at 11,580 centres spread across the state. A total of 37,49,977 students, including 21,08,937 boys and 16,41,040 girls, registered for the Class 10 exams. The copies were evaluated by 1.25 lakh teachers between March 30 and April 15.

About the Board : The UP Board, also known as Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad, was established in 1921 in Allahabad. It was founded for the promotion and development of Secondary Education in Uttar Pradesh and started conducting examinations in 1923.

The primary functions of the board are to recommend the syllabus, propose rules and specify courses of instruction and textbooks, teaching by correspondence courses, recognition of high school and intermediate education of schools in Uttar Pradesh.
