The veterinary council of India is the statutory body which regulates veterinary practices in India. The VCI is established under the Ministry of agriculture of the government of India in 1984. Every year the organization conducts the All India pre veterinary test (AIPVT) exam, it is national level entrance exam conducted for the candidates seeking admissions to BVSc and AH courses. Earlier the organization has released the notification for the entrance exam.
