IBPS Clerk 2015 Cutoff would be published by the Institute of Banking Personnel Selection for selection of best lot of candidates for the post of Clerk in all the participating public sector banks and financial institutions. It can be taken as a selection parameter which helps in ensuring that the quality of candidates is selected for recruitment. Cut off is declared along with the declaration of the result. IBPS Clerk Cut off 2015 Stages

As the pattern of examination has changed, now the cutoff shall be applied at three steps. There are two tiers of examination called as Prelims and Mains. Candidates have to qualify in both of the tiers to be called for personal interview and document verification. Finally the third cutoff will be applied while forming the final merit list.

What is IBPS Clerk Cut off 2015 ?

Cutoff can be considered as a selection benchmark for picking the most deserving and eligible candidates for the process of recruitment. It is decided in the form of marks. If a candidate has scored marks equal to or more than the cutoff, he will be selected for the next round of recruitment process. However, if the marks are less than the cutoff, he shall be rejected. We can deduce that higher the marks better is the chances of recruitment. Thus, it is necessary to score well in all the stages to increase the chances of final selection.
