Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) is an autonomous agency in India, which started its operation in 1975 as Personnel Selection Services (PSS). In 1984, IBPS became an independent entity at the behest of Reserve Bank of India (RBI) and Public Sector Banks.

Tips to crack Mains in last week preparation:
- First analyze your strong & weak areas of topics
- For GK, Computer bits..you can give less time because these are somewhat easy compared to other sections
- For Quantitative Aptitude. Make good practice regular topics like age problems, Time & Work, Simplifications, number system etc
- For Reasoning.. (It is tough in Mains- High Level) Give more practice on Table & chart diagrams, statement & assumptions, sitting arrangements
- Try to attempt 20 bits in each section to cross sectional cut off
- Answer more questions in which section you are strong for overall cut off
- Don’t take more time on any question, it leads to tension and pressure
- Be cool and tension free
