The Staff Selection Commission (Combined Higher Secondary Level) Exam (afternoon slot), conducted on December 20, 2015, saw certain changes as compared to the previous yearâs papers. Overall, the difficulty level of the paper ranged from easy to moderate but it was slightly difficult than morning slot question paper. The afternoon slot saw various number of sets with 1 unique question paper. All sections, except English Language, were available bilingually, that is, in both English and Hindi. Each question was followed by 4 options. There was a negative marking of 0.25 marks for each incorrect answer.

SSC CHSL General Intelligence Section Analysis
The section primarily saw questions of easy to moderate level. There were more questions than usual from Visual Reasoning. There was a typing mistake in a number series question.
Evening slot question paper saw a question from Blood Relations although the Circular Arrangement question was missing which was there in the morning slot.
Besides this, this paper saw a question based on counting of vowels in 4 different words, which is not a usual type of question asked in SSC exams.

SSC CHSL Quantitative Aptitude Section Analysis
This section comprised questions from a variety of areas. A major part of the section was based on Algebra, Trigonometry, Geometry and Data Interpretation. The paper also had questions from Ratio, Profit & Loss, Averages, Time-Speed-Distance, Time & Work and Percentages. A few questions were of slightly higher level in comparison to the questions asked in the morning slot. A candidate could have easily attempted 32-35 questions.

SSC CHSL General Awareness Section Analysis
The questions in the section are of easy to moderate level. Questions from history, geography and polity were easier than other sections. Some questions from physics, chemistry and biology were moderately difficult compared to other sections. 25-30 questions can be easily attempted. One of the questions asked about the foundation of modern cartography, which was laid by Eratosthenes. This answer is not present in any of the options.
