GHMC Elections 2016: GHMC stands for ‘Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation‘ which was recently known as MCH (Municipal Corporation of Hyderabad) now changed to GHMC. The municipal elections are held once a 5 year as same duration term as Lok sabha and Vidhan sabha election term. The recent GHMC elections were held in the city of Hyderabad was in the year 2009 under the Andhra Pradesh government. But as now Telangana state is separated the elections will take a new turn.

GHMC elections 2016 which is being conducted for first time after formation of Telangana state there is much discussion on voter list and court cases finally High court ordered government of Telangana to complete GHMC Elections 2016 by 31st January 2016. Before to this GMHC elections were held in 2009 in united andhra pradesh and at this time BJP (Bharatiya Janata Party), Congress, TDP (Telugu Desam Party), MBT (Majlis Bachao Tahreek), AIMIM (All India Majlis E Ittehad Ul Muslimeen),TRS(Telangana Rashtra samiti) and others including independent candidates will also contest in the elections 2016. GHMc election 2016 Vote Status

Telangana State Election Commission (TSEC), Hyderabad has facilitated the voters in Hyderabad region(GHMC Region) to check the status of their vote for the coming GHMC (Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation) elections in 2016. The voters in Greater Hyderabad area i.e is Hyderabad / Secunderabad can check their vote / ward / polling station through the new website of Telangana State Election Commission at www.tsec.gov.in .

Below is the step by step procedure to check the Ghmc voter status,Polling station,ward circle ..etc  and download the voter slip for GHMC elections 2016:

1) First visit the website www.tsec.gov.in
2) You will find differstnt links  Observer portal, candidate portal, voter portal..etc from that Choose Voter Portal to know voter status,voter slip,polling station ..etc information.
3) Voter Portal will display following links:
– List of GHMC Polling Stations
– Search and Download Voter slip for GHMC election
4) GHMC Voter can click on ‘Search and Download Voter slip for GHMC election 2016’. Know Here you need to enter any one of the displayed fields. These are: Circle / Ward / Door No/ Name / EPIC Number.

5) You will get the result if you enter EPIC number. Otherwise the processing may take some time.
6) See your name in the list and click on the ‘Print Voter Slip’ to get it downloaded.

The details of voters enrolled till 24th November 2015 are available in the website. The best part of the site is you can download the voter slip from the website and need not search at the polling station on polling date.
