CDS Exam in conducted in two phases – Written Exam and Interview. The written examination will be of three papers – Mathematics, General Knowledge and Elementary Mathematics. Each paper will carry 100 marks and will be conducted for 2 hours duration. The candidates for admission to Indian Military Academy, Indian Naval Academy and Air Force Academy will appear for all the three papers. However, candidates seeking admission to the Officers’ Training Academy will appear for 2 papers – Mathematics and General Knowledge. The structure of the CDS Paper Pattern 2017 is given below:
