The candidates who are selected for the posts of Junior Engineer, Senior sectional Engineer will be placed across RRB’s of Siliguri, Secunderabad, Chennai, Gorakhpur, Jammu according to the option that has been provided by the applicant during registration. The RRB will decide the cutoff marks for the candidates.
Selection Process: Selected of candidates will be purely based on the marks obtained by the candidate in the written Exam along with the merit. Those aspirants who got selected will be called for Document Verification & Medical Examination. The RRB’s will announce the list of shortlisted candidates for further process.
After Merit list got declared around the date given above, candidates can check it by visiting the direct link given above. Candidate need to first select their RRB and then click on the RRB JE 2015 result check link on the official website. Then they need to open the list of selected candidates and find their roll number in that pdf.
The selection for Junior Engineer group (JE IT, Printing etc.) will be done on the basis of marks obtained in Single stage written examination followed by verification of original documents. Selection is made strictly as per merit in the written examination.
The written test have objective type Questions based on General Awareness, Arithmetic, General Science and Technical Ability, General Intelligence and reasoning. 150 questions were asked out of which 90 will be from General Science and Technical Ability section.

RRB JE SSE CEN 01/2015 Result
The written exam was a multiple choice one and questions were set on General awareness, Arithmetic, General Intelligence and Reasoning, General Science and Technical Ability. The question paper had 150 questions, out of which 90 questions were from Technical Ability & General Science and 60 from General awareness, Arithmetic, General Intelligence and Reasoning. The technical portion of 90 questions covered basic concepts of Science and Engineering from all the branches/disciplines of educational qualifications specified.
RRB JE/SSE Merit List 2015
RRB Sr. Section Engineer Merit List 2015 will be published region wise and also combined list will be available on the main web portal. Only those securing cut off mark will be shortlisted. The recruitment authority has not specified any cut off bar that will be maintained. From previous year’s trend, we can predict that the minimum percentage to pass might be 50% for general and 45% for reserved candidates.
RRB JE & SSE Further Selection Process
Based on the performance of candidates in the online examination, candidates equal to the number of vacancies will be called for document verification in the main list. In addition, 30% extra candidates will also be considered as standby. However, they will be called only if there is shortage of applicants from the main list.
During document verification, everyone concerned will have to produce their original certificates. No additional time will be given and the candidature of the candidates not producing their original certificates on the date of verification will be cancelled without any further consideration.
